If you’re in to hiking, backpacking, and general outdoorsy stuff…… get your ass to Patagonia. Patagonia is an area covering the southern Chile-Argentina border, comprising several national parks, amazing mountains, and an unreal number of glaciers.  As you would expect, the weather at the bottom of the world is unpredictable and generally pretty crappy.  Even during the southern hemisphere summer months it is not uncommon to have long periods of rain, high winds, and even snow at the higher elevations.  During the winter conditions are even worse, with many areas impassible due to snow.  Sounds pretty awesome, huh?  Read more...
