Peru’s Nazca Lines
After an 8-hour bus from Lima we arrived in the town of Nazca, located in Southern Peru. Basically,
there isn’t shit to do in Nazca besides the lines and the Chauchilla Cemetery (which I recommend doing on your own instead of with a tour). The lines are cool, and the flight isn’t too expensive (I think it was about $50). One word of caution: if you are prone to motion sickness, don’t go on the flight. To make sure everyone gets a good view of each of the lines the pilot will roll the plane from side to side so that you look straight down. This caused the dude in front of me to spend the majority of the flight puking into a plastic bag.
