Lima is Peru’s most modern, most metropolized (that’s not a real word, is it?), and largest city, with nearly 10 million people.
Lima is full of history, culture, good food, great drinks, and fun people. It’s pretty much impossible to visit Peru without starting, or at some point passing through Lima, so here’s the deal:
The first destination for the Travel Drunks was Bocas Del Toro, a town on Isla Colon, which is island off the northeast coast of Panama. Bocas is best known for 80F tropical water, good surf, and lots of drunk people in the early to mid 20s (and it delivered on all three points).
